Usama Mir, the leg-spinner for Multan Sultans, has made history in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) by achieving a new record in the current season.
During the match against Quetta Gladiators, Usama dismissed Mohammad Wasim Jr., solidifying his position as the leading wicket-taker among spin bowlers in a single edition of the tournament.
His remarkable performance yielded figures of three wickets for 22 runs in four overs, elevating his total wicket count to 21 for this season.
This feat surpasses the previous record held by Rashid Khan, who claimed 20 wickets in the previous season while representing Lahore Qalandars.
Notably, Hasan Ali’s 25 wickets in the 2019 season remains the highest tally of wickets taken by any bowler in a single PSL edition.
