In the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party released its ‘Sankalp Patra’ — election manifesto — at the party’s headquarters in Delhi on Sunday.
BJP’s national president JP Nadda, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman and S Jaishankar among other party leaders were also present at the event.
BJP president JP Nadda said that it is important to remember that the party is an “ideology-based party”, adding that “BJP and initially from the Jansangh era, we are all involved in the journey of ideological foundation by continuously taking those ideas forward.”
“Every time elections come, we all have worked to carry forward the same ideological journey,” he said.
Saying that the BJP has delivered on everything that it has promised, Nadda said the prime minister simplified the vision for the common man to understand and called it “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas“.
