Nokia phone maker HMD Global announces Easy Pay, expects up to 30% growth in smartphone sales

HMD Global, the maker of Nokia phones, on Wednesday announced Easy Pay in partnership with DMI Finance. According to HMD, the smartphone financing solution will help the company in improving the sales of new smartphones by 25-30 per cent.

Launching the offer, Ravi Kunwar, VP-India & APAC, HMD Global, said that the HPD Easy Pay will make Nokia smartphones more accessible to common people. 

“HMD Easy Pay is the realisation of that commitment, a ground-breaking financing program that places Nokia smartphones within reach of all. We are thrilled to be partnering with DMI Finance to bring this revolutionary solution to our customers,” Kunwar said.

Explaining how HMD Easy Pay will help more people to easily purchase Nokia devices, Gautam Dhingra – Head, Product Portfolio, GTM, Accessories & Alliances – said that there are high chances that people without even a credit score can buy these smartphones on easy EMIs.

“There is a lot of large language model (LLM) and artificial intelligence (AI) involved in the entire process and they make the process quite smooth. These things help provide faster approval to even customers who are new to the credit system,” Dhingra added.
