PCB cleans house: Arthur joins Bradburn & Puttick in exit

After Grant Bradburn and Andrew Puttick resigned from their positions, Mickey Arthur, the former director of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has also chosen to part ways nearly two months after he was removed as director due to the team’s poor World Cup performance.

Following their removal, Arthur, Bradburn, and Puttick were instructed to report to the National Cricket Academy in November, but no responsibilities were assigned to them. They will receive their salaries three months in advance until February.

It’s worth noting that Arthur, appointed by former PCB interim management committee chairman Najam Sethi, held dual roles as the director and head coach of English county side Derbyshire while managing Pakistan duties remotely.

Arthur then joined the national side during the Asia Cup in September and remained with the team throughout the tournament and the subsequent 2023 ODI World Cup.
