Examination paper leaks have almost become a norm in Rajasthan. In this tenure itself, at least 14 cases of examination paper leaks have impacted around 1 crore youngsters. This is key because as many as 48.92 lakh voters are first voters in Rajasthan and thus play a major decisive role. Their frustration from the paper leaks can prove to be expensive to the Congress party.
Crime against women is also a rampant problem in the state with instances of such crimes recurring time and again. Union Minister Anurag Thakur, in a press conference in July, alleged that “A total of 33,000 cases pertain to sexual assault on women in Rajasthan, but the Gandhi family remains silent.”
Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje has also claimed that most of the crimes against women have taken place in Rajasthan which alone accounted for over 10 lakh incidents in 54 months.
Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari, while attacking the Congress government has said, “They have totally failed on all fronts, be it crimes against women, rising prices, deteriorating law and order, leak of question papers or widespread corruption. I could go on and on.”
