Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced a new feature for those who run their businesses on the instant messaging app WhatsApp, WaBetaInfo reported.

According to the app-tracking website, users have now the ability to create ads without needing a Facebook account and new paid optional messaging features.

These features have been announced on the official Meta Channel, hence, they will be released very soon.

The feature of campaign messages would be super helpful to those running small businesses by providing them with the ability to communicate with customers smoothly.

Businesses often find it difficult to reach out to new customers effectively, however, this new feature will prove to be significant.

This paid messaging feature is specifically being released for small businesses as there are limitations for them to approach their customers. As for larger companies, they will be able to use WhatsApp Business API to reach their customers.

Small businesses will be able to create campaign messages to send personalised promotions, reminders, or even updates on holiday sales by using a template through a tool.

Not only that, they will also be able to manage their communication costs in an efficient way.

“By paying a certain fee, which may vary from country to country, businesses will gain access to these enhanced messaging tools and easily manage their budget by controlling the cost associated with each message they send,” said the WhatsApp watcher.

Businesses can maximise their customer engagement by remaining within their allocated budget.

Moreover, there will not be any need of creating a Facebook account for the promotion of their businesses on Facebook and Instagram. The process will be super simple as their ads would be sponsored on Facebook with an option of a “click-to-chat button” that redirects to a WhatsApp conversation with the business.

This feature will be available for both Android and iOS users.
