Pentagon leak: Suspect identified and arrested, says FBI

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on Thursday confirmed that an arrest has been made and authorised law enforcement activity is underway at a residential property in North Dighton, Massachusetts.

This comes in the wake of a media report suggesting that a suspect involved in the leak of classified information has been identified.

In light of these developments, US Attorney General Merrick Garland is scheduled to address the situation at precisely 2:30 pm (1830) GMT EDT on Thursday.

It is believed that more information regarding the ongoing investigation will be revealed during the Attorney General’s statement.
